As Bouchard Pierce's appliance department manager, he understands the importance of good customer relations. "I'm the problem solver here, and my most important function is to make sure our customers are happy," he says.
Bob recalls the time he received a thank-you letter from a customer who bought a dishwasher to replace one that had gone kaput. When the serviceman arrived to install the new dishwasher, he discovered a simple fix for the old one, repaired it, and issued a refund for the new one. The customer was so pleased she vowed to let everyone know about the great service she had received.
Bob now lives in Colchester with his wife, Cheryl, and their two cats, Ozzie and Marzapan. Their grown children live nearby. Besides serving as a state representative, Bob is the vice president of the Vermont Retail Association [
