Guaranteed to dissapoint. If the machine doesnt LG customer service will. Arrived DOA Dead on Arrival. Machine wouldnt even turn on. BEWARE of LG support. We waited for over 1 week for LG to process the replacement and give us a new delivery date. After 5 business days LG still hadnt even started processing the replacement ticket. The delivery company took the machines back with them since they didnt work and I am still arguing with LG about that. They cannot seem to let it sink in that we dont have the machines in our house. Be wary of a product that cannot even make it through delivery without breaking

Pretty but useless if you want a functioning dryer

This dryer is not even a year old and already has a short.I have to unplug/replug it just to be able to use it. Even then I cannot change the cycle because the dial just blinks. I tried to contact LG through their app. What a joke. I am now trying to find a live body using their 1-800 number to get service since its still under warranty. I would not recommend this dryer. It was expensive and should have lasted more than 8 months

I replaced my old dryer with this one when my washing machine broke. The lights didnt come on a the first day after I kept turning it on and off to play with the controls but when I used it for the first laundry day everything worked fine. The Lowes installer who hooked it up make the vent hose crooked so I had to pull the dryer out and fix it because the machine said I had an 80 blockage. Pay attention to the notes on your machine panel. I have only have it a few weeks but so far the dryer works fine.

We bought the washer and dryer after our older dryer started to fail. We have been so impressed with this duo so far. I love the smart functions of the set as it will remind me if I have left wet clothing in the wash and also prompts me to clean the tub more frequently and rinse the lint trap. I love that I know exactly what is going on with the machine from a diagnostic perspective. Since purchasing our electric bill has declined close to 30 because these are much more energy efficient. They also look very sleek and have a smaller footprint than our previous washer/dryer. Overall would highly recommend this product.

LG Customer Service is TERRIBLE

I bought the washer and dryer TOGETHER through LG. It took 2 and a half weeks for them to be delivered to me. I live in one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the world why did it take so long? Home Depot and Lowes were showing next day or 2 day deliveries. On the day of my delivery the delivery team could not install my new washer and dryer because I apparently did not purchase the stacking kit. If I am buying a washer and dryer together from the same website why would that not be offered to me? How would I know I need to buy another item? Its 3 pieces of metal the machines really cant include it? I spent over $2000 its a little ridiculous that 3 pieces of metal arent included in that.. I called LG and was told I would get a refund for the installation which I am currently still waiting on... Its been over 10 days. The machines itself look nice. I am still figuring out how to use them. I did multiple loads of laundry and in some of them the dryer kept adding more time??? I also keep getting a message about my ducts being full but there isnt really anything I can do about them..

I bought this a month ago and have never been more frustrated or disappointed in a company. My dryer from the very beginning has makes a loud noise and I am waiting for an lg certified repair man to come tomorrow sent by LG. The language barrier to try and arrange this was hard and I spent hours trying to arrange for the service as the call center is not in the USA. They wanted to come and look at my dryer last Friday evening between 4-8 pm not even normal business hours. One can only imagine how that would have gone. Fingers crossed for tomorrow that the person they send will actually know what he is doing.

My first thought about a dryer with wifi was Why why would I need this why would I want this? I bought it anyway because of the beautiful modern and sleek look to it and my previous dryer was an LG which I had a long very good experience with so I wanted another LG. This works as good if not better than my previous dryer and I do use the wifi. The LG ThinQ app lets me know how much time is left when to clean the lint filter and sends an alert to my phone when its finished among many other useful features. When not in use the dryers digital display shows the date and time. I also bought the matching front load washer and the matching pedestals to complete the look and functionality. Its a beautiful looking and beautiful working machine

Dryer dries items quickly and is quiet great since laundry is open to the kitchen. Only issue that I see reported elsewhere and LG does not plan to fix is that some lint does collect on bottom of the door gasket and the door does not close well has about 1/4 inch gap - when closed I can pull/push on the door and it has a lot of give. I may resolve this using another users solution - adding door weatherstrip so that the door seal meets case.

Too many bells and whistles no user control

Its a good dryer but the settings are frustrating. For example if I use a cycle and my clothes dont get dry I can change the cycle the next time to continue until they are a little more dry. I also find it frustrating that there is no way to keep the drum going with no heat until I can unload the clothes. I go to the dryer as soon as it stops. The clothes arent completely dry warm and in a wrinkled pile. Had I known the lack of control in the varied cycles I wouldnt have purchased. The additional features like Keep Fresh do nothing to prevent wrinkles.

Excellent dryer. This dryer actually connects to the compatible washer to automatically determine the best cycle and temperature for the load. WiFi controllable with application notifications. Also Alexa and Google compatible. I am very impressed with this dryer..

Weve been using the washer and dryer set for over a month and love them The dryer is so quiet fast and the clothes seem to be softer than what the old dryer has able to dry even with the dryer sheets My wife was a little uncertain about using the single dial but now she loves it Especially the ThinQ link from the washer communicating with the dryer to set the dryer setting Only complaint is that the internal light does not turn on and stay on when the door is open.

A Smart And Fun Purchase With Many Options

We bought our dryer in September 2023 and its a fun purchase. It pairs with the washer to recommends the best cycle according to the wash cycle. It informs me to wash the lint collector every 10 cycles and informs me when my load is done allowing me to restart or use keep fresh remotely from my cell. Theres even a steam option that gets well set wrinkles out not to mention theres a cycle that assists with ironing leaving clothes slightly damp. My most favorite cycle is the one for jeans. I no longer need to hang our jeans out to dry because the cycle doesnt shrink the jeans.

I replaced DLHX4072W with DLEX5500W. The electrical configuration does not match. 1. Your call center said the dryer will work only with 208 volt . 240 is not available in Manhattan NY.. 2. Please recommend a different stackable dryer that matches the electrical and size requirements of the DLHX4072W?

We have only had the dryer for about a month but it has been in operation just about every day. Our nonprofit does a lot of visitation and work with the infirmed. Volunteers often leave some of their protective clothing for the next use. Laundry happens and in the world of Covid being able to sanitize was one of our highest priorities. This system of 5500 units has performed very well so far and the company volunteers are enjoying the connectivity of the smart components.

New Home NEW DRYER

We purchased this dryer about a month ago after settling on our new home. Ordered in store and it was delivered about a week later. This dryer is dries fast. Unlike that is doesnt feel super hot and the clothes are dry but dont feel like they are scorched. However my favorite feature is the LG app where is lefts me check on drying time remote start and lets me know when its time to clean or perform maintenance to keep my dryer on tip top shape.
