Lose-lose with LG

The LG washer that I purchased three months ago 9/4/2023 and am still paying on working two jobs to do so stopped spinning. Subsequently I contacted customer service on 11/19/2023 and the machine is still not repaired I am now on my third service technician only to be told by the second repair person that LG was too difficult to deal with and that is why he dropped the repair order. I have contacted over eight customer service people only to be escalated to the presidential liason Fernando who told me I was rude because I disagreed when he stated Thanksgiving was a holiday week and that is why my repair was further put on hold I reminded him it is not a holiday week but in reality a holi-day. I spoke with Philip in Texas on Friday of this supposed holiday week and he was helpful and agreed that it is not a holiday week. At this point this three month old washer has rust in the bottom of the tub. I submitted pictures and and asking for a repair or replacement. Only to receive a nasty note from Fernando again telling me I was asking for a refund and am not qualified for one. I did not say refund I stated repair or replacement. Many people that I have shared this story with feel that Fernando Prince now has a vendetta against me and is taking pleasure in this horrible process. It is now December 4 and I am still without a washer and will not have a repair person to my home until December 6. I have lost wages meeting repair people and am at the mercy of laundromats. What a piece of junk this LG rusted washer is and the incompetent customer service from LG only adds to the problem. Talisha and Philip were the two customer service reps. that recognized my issue and tried to help. Only to escalate it to Fernando who seems to put the stop on everything. I have filed two complaints with the company and will next address this to the Attorney General and the Board of Directors. This is unacceptable on any level

I just bought this washer and used it for the first time and there is not enough water to cover the clothes so I put the setting on deep fill and still not enough. I stood and watched how the agitator starts and stopped and doesnt pull the clothes on the top into the water to be washed. This is not what I was expecting from a washer. Very un happy after spending the money. I wouldnt give any praise to this washer at all. Dont buy. That is all I can say.. youll be very unhappy with the results

I purchased this washer a few weeks ago. My previous washer was over 15 years old. My what a difference between the two. I can adjust my water level in my LG it has an agitator my other did not and its wonderful. I love everything about it. Its quite wrings the clothes so much dryer than my old one and my clothes dont come out wrinkled. Im 73 and this washer has changed my attitude about laundry day. The tub is so large I even washed my king size down comforter which came out so good. Wish I had purchased it before now. Thanks LG for making a mature womans day much easier.

Our clothes are cleaner water usage is down electric is lower what use to be 2 loads is only one with 4.1 space. the locking lid is a safety I enjoy. water level self ajusts so no guessing load size. Very quiet and easy to level . Insturctions are easy to read and PRINTED as well as on web.

This set out to be a fun gift giving experience for my 84yr old mom and quickly turned into complete stress for her. I purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot for her and shortly after receiving it she notified me that it wasnt working correctly. HD instructed her to call LG instead of them taking care of the problem. My mom called LG explaining that the problem with the washer was the spin cycle. She had a very difficult 2 HOUR conversation of trouble shooting with a rep at LG due to a thick accent. My mom repeatedly asked her to speak slowly because she couldnt understand her. This ended with my mom extremely stressed and frustrated and nothing was accomplished. I called the following day for her and spoke with a rep that also was very rude. She said that they called my mom twice that morning at 8am which was actually 5:00 IN THE MORNING her time. The rep argued with me that my mom was wrong. This rep kept talking over me and interrupting me. I was only trying to be helpful to her by calling my mom since she was unnotified that anyone from LG was going to be calling. After the 2nd attempt of trouble shooting with my mom the rep was finally going to send a service tech out. To help assure my mom through this process I had to take 2.5 days off work and travel to her home since she is 3.5 hours away and we couldnt get an exact time the service guy would be out. Once the service tech replaced a part ON A BRAND NEW MACHINE the washer now works. I am completely unsatisfied with this whole transaction.

Ive had this machine for a few months now and I must say Im quite happy with it. My previous machine was a near $2000 front load machine that I hated. It had so many settings it should have made toast too The direct drive on this washer was one of the first things that attracted me to it pulleys or belts to worry about. The dash layout is simple and intuitive most loads offer different load temps and I appreciate that all rinses are cold water only. Some extra setting are available for an extra rinse deeper fill or just a rinse and spin out. All the settings Ive tried so far have been satisfactory. I was worried about the lack of water per load at first but clothing is clean fresh and dries well. When washing larger or heavier items Ive used the deep fill option a few times and/or heavy duty and deep wash. *Dont over do the washing powder or liquid.* ITS QUITE Unless a hear the spin out more like vibration I never hear the wash The only setting I truly miss is a dedicated soak cycle. I have started a rinse only cycle and stopped it. It does empty itself after a bit but not spin out so the clothes stay wet enough to soak for 30 mins or so. I was worried about the glass lid but it is tempered and heavy. I love the no slam feature. Dont put this on a pedestal if youre short. Im 53 and I still need to stand on my tippy toes to reach the bottom. I kinda wanted to use a pedestal for the storage Im glad I didnt. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the missing soak cycle.

Diagnose this button says push temperature button but there is no temperature button the manuals do not match up with the machine. sach barcose and message says this machine dose not use this code. have done appliance repair all my life and this is a piece of trash Also shed mentioned the drain hose is only five feet long if your drain is not right behind the machine you have to buy $25 extension

Great washer The initial startup was a bit confusing at first. The app is not for iOS devices so that was a disappointment. Hopefully that will be available soon because that was a big selling point for me to be able to view diagnostics and errors on my phone.

I am tired of the washers that have suspension rods They are the worst technology in my opinion. The spin cycle is so frustrating so much rearranging clothes to find the right balance point. when I saw the features of this LG well there is a reason why LG means Lifes Good. Since I bought my washer I love the way it works. Oh I had not only a washer with suspension rods it also was an impeller I think that is the terminology. Old school agitators is better. at least that is my opinion.

The best I can say is: it does wash properly. But the detergent/softener tray remains full of water after the cycle ends and must be emptied manually awkward and the water level and temperature controls do not work - All I can do is pick a cycle and hope for the best a little worrisome

I bought this hearing good things just to find out that it does not go from wash to rinse to spin. You have to hit each of these manually after one after the other. I talked to support and they were no help They ran me through a bunch of things and didnt even hear my concerns. It works really well It just doesnt cycle like its supposed to.

This product is useless doesnt clean clothes leaves grease spots and even the repair person says its junk. Defect in the whole washer that doesnt use enough water and the clothes dont get washed. Some of our clothes are still dry in spots from the lack of water.
